Blue skies, 70 degree weather, a beautiful golf course and Jack Daniel’s, really what more could you ask for?
A team of our Red Moon whiskey experts spent seven days in gorgeous Scottsdale, Arizona to activate the Jack Daniel’s Experience at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. This was Red Moon and the Jack Daniel’s Experience first time at the tournament so expectations were up in the air, the team was ready to see if this would be an event that would stick in the books.
Moonie, Kathleen Smith noticed something very obvious about golf fans at the tournament, “These people love their Jack! We would have repeat visitors that would stop by everyday for an ice cold Jack Daniel’s Honey and Lemonade to cool off from the heat. We had Jack fans who would be thinking they would just stop by for a quick drink, and however wind up talking the history of Jack with us for hours,” Smith said.
Red Moon served as brand ambassadors and tour guides for Jack Daniel’s, educating folks on the history of Jack and how we make that incredible whiskey. A Jack Daniel’s Family of Brand’s bar was set up outside the tour that had lines stretching outside the tent, along with free Jack Daniel’s pictures being printed for those over 21.
Our team of Red Moonies ventured back from the desert a little bit tanner, with big smiles on their faces about the outcome of the event.
Smith is already planning her next visit, “I hope we get to go back next year, I had strangers who became friends over the last week who promised me they would visit Lynchburg, Tennessee to see the distillery. I need to make sure they keep their promise.”
The Jack Daniel’s Experience and a few of our Moonies will be back in Arizona on February 17th, this time for a whole different kind of fun, The Tucson Rodeo!
