Account Executive - Harris Teeter
Location: Baltimore Washington DC market
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Account Executive will support the Account Director on the Harris Teeter account. Roughly 90% of assignments involve representing Harris Teeter at events in which they sponsor. The purpose of this role is to educate consumers about the Harris Teeter brand and programs by way of in store activations, managing the Harris Teeter vehicle fleet, and other activation elements. The position will require a high volume of face to face conversations with guests while on-site. Pre-event planning will include coordinating with local vendors, agencies, and talent to ensure the result is a successful event.
· Assist with scheduling and staffing events
· Create event recaps and accurate expense reports
· Responsible for booking hotels, travel, rental items as needed
· Interact with consumers to spread Harris Teeter program knowledge
· Comfortable with traveling frequently including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Willingness to represent multiple brands utilizing various elements and assets
· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree required
· Desire to be educated on the Harris Teeter brand
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
· Ability to work independently and solve problems with little to no supervision
