Huber Engineered Woods (HEW) has partnered with Red Moon with a goal to further showcase their products to customers across the country. HEW and Red Moon have a muti-year relationship prior to the launch of the this particular program so it was a natural pairing when selecting a partner to develop, design, organize and activate a mobile marketing program suitable to Huber’s objectives.

So, allow us the pleasure of introducing to you the Huber Engineered Woods High Performance Home Tour.

Three of Red Moon’s brand ambassadors, Mike Stine, Don Coleman and Craig Elmore have been traveling the Southeast, Northeast and Southwest parts of the country educating contractors, architects and building suppliers about Huber’s ZIP System roof and  wall sheathing and AdvanTech flooring. Both brands are demonstrated by interactive element tests. ZIP System wall sheathing  replaces traditional house wrap with a code recognized structural panel that also has a built-in water-resistive barrier and air barrier. ZIP System roof sheathing is a structural panel with a built-in moisture resistive barrier that eliminates felt paper. Simply install the roof panels, tape the seams and you have a structural roof system and code-recognized underlayment all in one. AdvanTech flooring is renowned as the best sub-flooring on the market, winner of Builder Magazine's #1 Quality Brand Leader award for 11 consecutive years. To demonstrate the power of AdvanTech flooring the team uses water demos to showcase the great moisture resistance and weight pressure demos to demonstrate the stiffness of the flooring.

The teams will continue with their journey and activations until the program wraps up around the end of April. Elmore, Red Moon’s ambassador who is managing the Southwest leg of the tour has many memorable experiences from his time with the tour. From conversations with small business owners affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to dealing with great folks at Tom Scott Lumber Yard in Mount Vernon Texas, Elmore has much experience and pride in the brands he’s representing.

“Everyone who came to the event at Scott’s Lumber Yard was engaging in the demonstrations and asking a lot of questions. It definitely showed that the local builders, customers and contractors wanted to learn about AdvanTech flooring and  ZIP System sheathing, “ Elmore said.

As the Huber vans continue to move on, Red Moon recognizes how the program wouldn’t be the success it has been without the great Huber sales team, marketing and communication department and company managers that believe so strongly in their product.
