Since its launch in 2009, Coca-Cola’s “Open Happiness” campaign has put an emphasis on positive living as refreshing as the one of their beverages.  Red Moon Marketing was given the chance to be a part of the fun.  Our team had the opportunity to travel to 10 different college campuses throughout the country and provide students with the experience of the Coca-Cola Open Happiness Machine. 

The activation consisted of a Coca-Cola vending machine transformed into a machine delivering a little bit of happiness. Each student would make a drink selection, but have no idea what else might be coming from the other side.  The prizes ranged from delicious Coca-Cola products to flowers, scooters, and even a massive sandwich that one lucky student ended up taking home.  Everything was free of course, but the reactions of these hard working students were even more priceless.  These responses are at the core of what the campaign stands for, that with Coca-Cola, people can experience little moments of happiness in their day-to-day lives.  Red Moon Marketing was honored to help spread the good news that surprising refreshment comes in all shapes and sizes.
