THE SITUATION
Britax is a well known child car seat brand that has been the leader in the market for years offering child seats, strollers, baby carriers and numerous accessories. With the appearance in a new movie, What to Expect When You're Expecting Britax wanted to reach a large amount of consumers by having events across the country to promote the film, educate families about the brand and have fun.

THE OBJECTIVE
Educate the consumers about the brand in an entertaining and amusing way. Events would include fun games to win Britax prizes and teach families about the importance in child safety when it comes to Britax products.

THE SOLUTION
Red Moon designed, staffed and managed the Britax Expect Greatness National Tour consisting of four vans, 15 cities, and 40 plus events. The Red Moon crew activated events at Destination Maternity retail stores which allowed Britax to reach their target consumers: expecting parents. Independent retail stores, festivals and local mom groups also played host to the tour. Stroller obstacle course, spin-to-win wheel and other games allowed consumers to participate in fun activities with the chance to win Britax products. Each event staffed Britax representatives to educate families about the brand and product demonstration. In honor of the movie, customers were urged to walk the "red carpet" and strike a pose in front of the Britax backdrop. The atmosphere of the tour events was casual, loose and fun.

THE RESULTS
  • Over 41 events across the country in less than a month time
  • 1,538 new members to join the Britax network
  • Over 600+ Britax products distributed
