The Coca-Cola 600 is an annual NASCAR Race held at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With over 1,200 campsites located on the infield of the track and an estimated 4,000 people, Coca-Cola saw the opportunity to entertain these campers as well as build their brand with these fans.
There were three objectives for this activation. One was to welcome the Infield Campers to the Coca-Cola 600. Second, provide entertainment for the Infield Campers during their stay. Third, brand the Infield with Coca-Cola visuals.
Red Moon was brought on to tackle the three objectives. Red Moon Team members made up the Coca-Cola Welcome Committee and traveled around the Infield on golf carts and sampling tricycles handing out ice cold Coca-Cola’s and telling the Infield Campers of all the planned Coca-Cola events throughout the week. Red Moon executed all of the before mentioned events for the Infield Campers from a Scavenger hunt to NASCAR Olympics - our team was there having fun right along with the hundreds of participants. We also had teams distributing Coca-Cola 600 Flags for Campers to decorate their campsites. We were the Infield Campers favorite people!
Red Moon had a great time interacting with the Infield Campers throughout the 2012 Coca-Cola 600 week. The infield was branded with 1,200 Coca-Cola 600 flags flying from fences, campers and tents. During the planned Coca-Cola Infield activities, we distributed over 1,300 prizes and most importantly, gave those campers a lasting Coca-Cola memory of their time at the 2012 Coca-Cola 600!
